About
In 1954, Pat Fletcher became the last Canadian to win the Canadian Open. The victory was significant, not only to have a Canadian, once again, hoist the Seagram Gold Cup, but it also marked 69 years until another Canadian would win the event. The draught ended in 2023 with Nick Taylor’s victory at Oakdale Golf and Country Club.
