Name: R.C.G.A Cross Tournament

Description: In an effort of raising funds for the war effort, the R.C.G.A. held charity golf events.  Professionals would donate their time and participants would pay a small entrance fee to view the exhibition tournaments and the revenue would be given to the Red Cross.  The R.C.G.A. actually cancelled all of their events including the Canadian Open and Canadian Men’s Amateur Championship in 1943 and 1944.
