Description: circa 1910, This right-handed Mashie is marked with the marker R. Forgan and Son. The face of the club is a dot face pattern with the lines running vertically. The back of the club has the oval R Forgan and Son stamp also identifying that it was made in St. Andrews. At the top of the club is the style of the club “scotia” which is in the cursive writing Under the scotia mark is the type of club, mashie. There is an additional stamp “made in St. Andrew” underneath the Forgan mark. The shaft is wood and the grip appears to be original.
