2001.67.01.i2_back

Description: Circa 1920 brown tweed “plus four” style knickers. Two front pockets. The cuffs each have a pair of buttons for tightening. There are 4 buttons on each side (hip) as well for securing around the waist.

« Plus Fours » were very common sports attire for this period and get their name because of the hem extending four inches below the knee.
